Greece's Regulatory Authority for Energy (RAE) introduced 142 MW of solar energy and 472 MW of wind farm on an online auction held last week.
A total of 52 bidders competed for the solar plants with less than 20 GW of capacity, with the prices ranging from EUR 45.84 ($54.3) per MWh to EUR 62.45/MWh. Only 514.8 KW of power capacity wasn't allocated.
Voltalia SA, French renewable energy producers, got 12 MW of solar energy in Peloppnnese region.
In term of wind energy, 25 projects below 50 MW were put up for auction, the offered prices ranging from EUR 53.86/MWh to EUR 57.7/MWh. In this auction, 9.6 MW wasn't allocated.
Grace originally sought to sell 481.45 MW of wind power.
