China's coal prices remained stable during the first ten days of August, showed the latest data from the National Bureau of Statistics.
Data showed China's primary coking coal prices remained steady, anthracite prices slid further, while prices of some thermal coal grade ticked up in the period.
The price of primary coking coal with <1% sulfur kept flat from late July, staying at 1270.0 yuan/t in early-August.
The price of washed medium-lump anthracite with volatile content ≤8% averaged 835 yuan/t by August 10, ticking down 5 yuan/t or 0.6% from the previous session.
The price of Shanxi 4500 Kcal/kg NAR mixed coal was 443.3 yuan/t in early-August, an increase of 2.7 yuan/t or 0.6% from late July.
The price of Shanxi 5000 Kcal/kg NAR mixed coal was 495 yuan/t, flat from the previous session.
The price of Shanxi 5500 Kcal/kg NAR premium mixed coal was 543.3 yuan/t in early-August, unchanged from late July.
The price of Datong 5800 Kcal/kg NAR mixed coal was 573.3 yuan/t in early-August, stable from late July.
