China's northwest Xinjiang Uygur autonomous region produced 277.69 million tonnes of coal during January-November, up 13.4% from the same period of last year, showed latest data from the local statistical bureau.
Raw coal sales during January-November gained 10% from the same period of last year and coal stocks climbed from 8.21 million tonnes in late October to 8.85 million tonnes, data showed.
Coke output rose 11.7% year on year to 22.66 million tonnes during January-November.
Power generation of the region was 419.1 TWh during January-November, up 15.1% year on year. Thermal power generation rose 15.2% year on year, and power generated by hydro, wind and solar rose 14.8% year on year.
Xinjiang supplied 422.85 TWh of electricity over January-November, up 14.4% year on year, of which 105.7 TWh of electricity was transmitted to other provinces, up 21.9% year on year.
