Coal exports of Brisbane port in Queensland, Australia rebounded in March from the preceding month yet remained a far cry from the year-ago level, according to the latest data released by the Port of Brisbane Pty Ltd (PBPL).
The port exported 108,500 tonnes of coal in March, falling 63.58% year on year but rising 58.86% on the month.
Coal exports via Brisbane port totaled 535,000 tonnes in the first three months of this year, falling 47.13% over the same period of last year.
Brisbane port is the third biggest port and a fast-developing container port in Australia.
