Madiliang coal mine of Inner Mongolia Intelligent Coal Co., Ltd., has been included in the national key coal mine list to shoulder supply guarantee task, according to the related notice from Inner Mongolia energy bureau.
The mine's production capacity is permitted to expand from 5 million tonnes per annum (Mtpa) to 8 Mtpa, the notice said.
Located in Jungar banner, Inner Mongolia, Madiliang coal mine has 680 Mt of resource reserves and 5 Mtpa of designed capacity with coal washing and preparation plant at the same size. It has a service life of 61 years.
It is the largest modern coal mine and also the first smart mine controlled by Wanbei Coal Electricity Group, a majority shareholder of Inner Mongolia Intelligent Coal Co., Ltd., outside of Anhui province.
Madiliang mine launched joint trial run from March 5 to August 5, 2020.
We will arrange production plan strictly in accordance with the mine's approved capacity and fulfill commitments in signing long-term coal contracts, Inner Mongolia Intelligent Coal Co., Ltd. said.
