China Shenhua Energy Co., Ltd., a listed arm of China Energy Investment Corp, saw its polyolefin sales fall 0.16% year on year to 61,000 tonnes in April, the company said in a report on May 17.
The April figure was 2.4% or 1,500 tonnes lower than that in March.
Polyethylene sales were 32,800 tonnes, a year-on-year rise of 0.9% and a month-on-month fall of 0.9%. Sale of polypropylene declined 1.4% from a year ago and 4.1% from March to 28,200 tonnes.
In January-April, sales of polyolefin totaled 238,500 tonnes, down 3.79% or 7,000 tonnes on the year.
