Notice on temporary suspending of CCI 5500 Import Index

CCI Index Team of sxcoal.com has decided to temporarily stop publishing the CCI 5500 Import spot index from March 9, 2021, due to greatly reduced transactions of seaborne 5,500 Kcal/kg NAR coal to China's coastal market since late October last year.

Weekly, 10-day and monthly averages of the CCI 5500 Import spot index will also be suspended from the same day.

The suspension is to avoid misjudgment of price trend by market participants. We will resume publishing of the indexes once the market transaction returns to normal.
